Qualifications:

• Active Florida ESE certification plus K-6 or PK-3 General Education certification
• Previous experience in self-contained special education classrooms required
• Fingerprint clearance (prior FL school district prints may be valid; JLA badge process as needed)
• Commitment to the 2026–2027 school year (August through May)
• Successful completion of an internal eligibility and a virtual pre-screen interview

Responsibilities:

• Teach and support students in a self-contained ESE (Exceptional Student Education) classroom
• Tailor instruction to a variety of learning levels and exceptionalities (primarily elementary, with flexible assignment options)
• Manage classroom activities, develop IEPs, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain compliance with state and school district guidelines
