Qualifications you’ll need:
- Current FL ESE certification
- Valid K-6 or PK-3 General Education certification
- Prior experience working in a self-contained classroom environment
- Willingness to complete fingerprinting and credentialing as required
- Commitment to the contract duration: August 3, 2026 – May 28, 2027
- Participation in a virtual prescreen interview process
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead your own classroom of elementary-aged ESE students, addressing varied learning levels and exceptionalities
- Create and implement individualized lesson plans and supportive interventions
- Foster an inclusive learning atmosphere
- Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and administrators
- Track and report on student progress and participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings
- Work 35 hours per week at a single school site (final location to be determined)
