Qualifications you’ll need:

• Current FL ESE certification
• Valid K-6 or PK-3 General Education certification
• Prior experience working in a self-contained classroom environment
• Willingness to complete fingerprinting and credentialing as required
• Commitment to the contract duration: August 3, 2026 – May 28, 2027
• Participation in a virtual prescreen interview process

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead your own classroom of elementary-aged ESE students, addressing varied learning levels and exceptionalities
• Create and implement individualized lesson plans and supportive interventions
• Foster an inclusive learning atmosphere
• Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and administrators
• Track and report on student progress and participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings
• Work 35 hours per week at a single school site (final location to be determined)
