What we’re seeking:
- Current Special Education Teacher certification in New Hampshire (NH certified required)
- Experience working with students across elementary to high school grades, especially in a special education setting
- Familiarity with a variety of specialized instruction methods and accommodations
- Ability to collaborate with fellow educators, staff, and families to develop and implement effective Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to working onsite throughout the contract
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct specialized instructional support to students in grades 1-11 across three school locations
- Develop and tailor lesson plans using evidence-based techniques to meet individual student needs and education goals
- Track student progress and adjust instructional approaches as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insight into student needs and progress
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment for all students
This part-time contract role provides approximately 15-20 hours per week, delivering flexibility while making a meaningful difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.
