Special Education Teacher in Jamaica, NY

You will work with a small group of 8 students, providing tailored instruction in a supportive, inclusive classroom setting. Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid certification in Special Education (Grades K-2 preferred)
• Prior experience working as a Special Education Teacher, especially with primary grade levels
• Proven success supporting students with behavioral needs and implementing effective behavior management strategies
• Ability to develop and adapt Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with colleagues and families
• Flexibility, empathy, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of young learners
