Key Qualifications:

• Valid 461 Special Education License
• Gifted Endorsement preferred
• Experience in self-contained or resource classroom settings

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage and deliver specialized instruction to either a K-2nd grade or 3rd-8th grade caseload
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to student needs
• Adapt curriculum to meet individual learning differences, ensuring progress toward academic and personal goals
• Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and compliance documentation
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to optimize student success
• Include families in the educational process and communicate regularly about progress and strategies
