Elementary Special Education Teacher - Inclusion & Resource

Soliant is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in an inclusion and resource room setting. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Special Education professional to provide individualized support and collaborate with general education staff to help students succeed academically.

Assignment Details

Position: Special Education Teacher
Grade Level: Elementary
Primary Grades: Grades 2, 3, and 5
Schedule: Full-Time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Setting: Inclusion and Resource Room
Assignment Details: ASAP - 05/25/2027

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and support to elementary students

• Provide services within inclusion and resource room settings

• Collaborate with general education teachers to support students in the classroom

• Develop and implement individualized instruction based on student needs

• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as appropriate

• Participate in IEP meetings and support IEP implementation

• Maintain accurate student documentation and progress records

• Promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Special Education Certification

• Ability to provide services in inclusion and resource room settings

• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

• Ability to support elementary-aged students with diverse learning needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous elementary Special Education experience

• Experience supporting students in Grades 2, 3, and 5

• Experience providing both inclusion and resource room services

• Previous school-based Special Education experience
