Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification

- Organizational skills to track progress and manage student documentation
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted instruction, accommodations, and modifications in a resource classroom setting for 6th grade students
- Develop, implement, and review IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary to meet individual goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers to support student inclusion and success across subject areas
- Foster a positive, supportive classroom atmosphere that promotes confidence and independence
