Job Title: Special Education Teacher (Sped)

Setting: Multiple Needs available, Self-Contained Classrooms. 

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teachers to join our team for the upcoming school year near the Johnston, RI area. The successful candidates will provide specialized instruction to students with diverse disabilities, working within varied classroom models and age groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction tailored to each student’s needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications:

• Valid LBS1 certification/license
• Experience working with students with disabilities preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to student success and professional growth
