Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Special Education Teaching License
• Active LBS1 endorsement
• Strong understanding of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and special education best practices
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Experience working with PreK through 5th grade students preferred

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans in alignment with IEP goals
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet students’ unique learning needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to support student success
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports social, emotional, and academic growth
• Participate in parent meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development activities
