Key Qualifications:

  • Current licensure in Special Education, preferably for elementary grades
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration with colleagues and families
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to each student’s abilities
  • Evaluate progress and adjust teaching strategies to maximize student growth
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related services, and support staff
  • Maintain compliance with educational standards and documentation requirements
  • Actively involve parents and guardians in student education and planning
