This full-time contract position focuses on providing direct instruction to a small group of elementary students in a self-contained classroom setting. Your days will be structured and purposeful, closely supported by a dedicated team of special education professionals.

Key Details:

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:40 a.m.–2:40 p.m.
  • Immediate start, with the opportunity to make an impact through October 31, 2026
  • Alternative scheduling options available to accommodate personal needs
  • Onsite position; remote or hybrid arrangements are not available for this role

You'll work directly with three kindergarten students and two first-grade students, focusing on their individualized learning goals. The setting is instructional, not a multi-needs classroom, allowing for focused, personalized teaching and rich connection-building with students.

What we’re seeking:

  • Valid licensure or eligibility to teach special education
  • Experience supporting students in elementary grades, preferably in a self-contained setting
  • Strong understanding of differentiated instruction, IEP implementation, and progress monitoring
  • Collaborative spirit to work alongside fellow special education teachers, paraeducators, and interdisciplinary team members
