Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience teaching students in elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and/or high school (9-12) settings
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Excellent classroom management and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized lessons for students with a variety of learning abilities and needs
• Create and maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment
• Implement IEPs, document student progress, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
• Utilize data-driven approaches to monitor growth and inform instruction
