Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience teaching students in elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and/or high school (9-12) settings
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Excellent classroom management and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualized lessons for students with a variety of learning abilities and needs
- Create and maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment
- Implement IEPs, document student progress, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
