What We’re Looking For:

• Valid teaching licensure with an endorsement in Special Education
• Experience working as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Comfortable adapting teaching methods and materials to support various learning styles and abilities
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction in accordance with student IEPs
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to ensure comprehensive learning support
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student growth and educational needs
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all relevant laws and school policies
• Participate in team meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as needed
