You’ll have the privilege of working with kindergarten through fifth-grade students with mild to moderate interrelated needs, offering both instruction and case management. Qualifications:

  • Valid state teaching license with special education endorsement (or eligibility)
  • Classroom experience as a Special Education Teacher (elementary preferred)
  • Confidence managing IEP caseloads and related documentation
  • Experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities in interrelated/resource settings
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Provide instruction and support for K–5 students identified for special education services
  • Manage a caseload of 17–20 students, ensuring compliance with all IEP requirements
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
  • Oversee case management duties: developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
  • Communicate regularly with families and participate in relevant meetings
