A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available in a middle school setting within the LIFT program, supporting students with low incidence Autism in Kansas City, KS. This role focuses on delivering specialized instruction tailored to meet the unique needs of students with autism and other low incidence disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students within the LIFT program.
- Adapt curriculum and teaching methods according to the needs of students with autism.
- Collaborate with staff, families, and related service providers to support student success.
- Monitor student progress and provide appropriate interventions.
- Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment.
Qualifications:
- Active Kansas Special Education License.
- Experience working with students with low incidence disabilities, preferably autism.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

- Kansas City, KS (Middle School environment)
