Special Ed Teacher - Kansas City, Kansas

Key Requirements:

• Valid and active Kansas K-12 teaching license for Special Education (must be current for consideration)
• Experience teaching in special education settings, preferably across varied age groups

• Excellent communication abilities for collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
• Commitment to individualized student support and differentiated instruction

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver and adapt specialized instruction according to student IEPs
• Consult and collaborate closely with classroom teachers and school teams
• Provide ongoing assessment, monitoring, and documentation of student progress
• Foster positive, supportive relationships with students and parents
• Move efficiently between assigned school locations, managing schedules and resources for multiple sites
