Qualifications and Essential Skills:

• Valid Kansas Low Incidence Special Education License required
• Experience or strong interest in elementary education settings
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and staff
• Dedication to fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement individualized education programs for students in the elementary LIFT classroom
• Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and interventions
• Maintain accurate and timely student records and progress reports
• Work closely with related service providers, families, and other educators
• Support the social-emotional and academic growth of each student
• Create engaging learning experiences tailored to unique strengths and challenges
