Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility) for the appropriate grade level
• Previous experience teaching in an elementary special education environment highly preferred
• Knowledge of IEP processes and familiarity with compliance requirements
• Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt to a variety of learning styles
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized, small group, and whole-class instruction in the IRR setting
• Develop, implement, and maintain IEPs, ensuring accommodations and modifications are met
• Collect and analyze student progress data, adjusting strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom community where all learners can succeed
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all documentation requirements
