Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education (SPED) certification
• Demonstrated experience or training with mixed caseloads, especially in elementary settings (K-5)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect and adapt to diverse learners
• Commitment to inclusive education practices and individualized instruction
• Team player mindset, willing to collaborate with general education teachers and support staff

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction tailored to the individual needs of students with mild, moderate, and severe disabilities within a K-5 classroom
• Develop and implement IEPs, monitor student progress, and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support personnel to maximize student outcomes
• Employ creative strategies and differentiated teaching methods
• Participate in school meetings, professional development, and parent-teacher conferences
