Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification in Missouri
• Direct experience implementing and managing IEPs
• Ability to manage diverse caseloads (K-12)
• Strong knowledge of special education practices and compliance

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction and support individualized to students’ unique needs
• Manage IEP development, documentation, and implementation in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Work collaboratively with general education staff, support personnel, and families
• Adapt curriculum materials and teaching methods to differentiate instruction
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and adjusting strategies as required
• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
