What we're looking for:

• Active Missouri Special Education Teacher certification.
• Previous IEP (Individualized Education Program) experience, including designing, implementing, and monitoring student plans.
• Flexibility to work across a variety of caseloads (K-12), adapting to student needs in self-contained, inclusion, resource, or co-teaching models.
• Solid understanding of best practices in special education and a commitment to advocating for all learners.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills for working with students, parents, and staff.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating and implementing individualized lesson plans tailored to students’ unique needs and abilities.
• Supporting students’ academic, social, and behavioral growth according to IEPs.
• Collaborating with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and specialists in inclusive and co-taught settings.
• Maintaining detailed, accurate documentation and participating in IEP meetings.
