Special Education Teacher - Kasson, Minnesota

Step into a meaningful role supporting sixth through twelfth-grade students as a Special Education Teacher at a reputable institution near Kasson, MN. You’ll work onsite from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm CST, primarily stationed on one campus alongside a co-teacher in the mathematics classroom. You’ll have the opportunity to engage directly with a caseload of approximately 10-20 students, helping each achieve their unique educational goals.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold certification as a Special Education Teacher; valid teaching license for the state required.
• Experience or willingness to work with middle and high school students (grades 6-12).
• ADS endorsement preferred for this position.
• Familiarity with co-teaching and inclusive education models is an asset.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to building supportive relationships with students, families, and staff.

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver differentiated instruction tailored to students’ individual education plans (IEPs).
• Partner with a co-teacher to provide targeted support within the math classroom.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, adapting strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and service providers to ensure holistic support.
