A specialized teaching opportunity is available for educators experienced in special education. This role involves supporting diverse learners through various instructional settings within a school environment. The position is contract-based and located in the Katy, TX area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction across multiple classroom formats including self-contained, co-teaching, and resource classrooms.
- Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of students.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and administration to ensure compliance and effectiveness of special education services.
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Provide case management that supports student success and aligns with legal and educational standards.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification with credentials in special education.
- Proven experience in various special education instructional methods including self-contained and co-teaching environments.
- Strong proficiency in IEP development and case management.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
