Special Education Teacher – Life Skills – Dallas, TX

Soliant is currently hiring a Special Education Teacher for a Life Skills classroom in Dallas, TX. This is a full-time opportunity for the 2026–2027 school year.

Job Details:

• Location: Dallas, TX

• Life Skills classroom

• Full-time, 40 hours per week

• 2026–2027 school year

• Onsite position

• Pay starting at $42/hour 

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students in a Life Skills setting

• Implement IEP goals and accommodations

• Teach functional academics and independent living skills

• Track student progress and maintain required documentation

• Work closely with paraprofessionals and related service providers

• Communicate with families and members of the educational team

• Participate in ARD/IEP meetings

Requirements:

• Texas Special Education teaching certification

• Texas Core teaching certification 

• Appropriate Texas teaching credentials for the assignment

• Life Skills or self-contained classroom experience preferred

• Ability to support students with a range of academic, functional, and behavioral needs
