Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 virtual special education instruction tailored to a 5th-grade student’s unique needs
• Implement specially designed strategies to support academic growth and development
• Collaborate with designated stakeholders regarding the student’s progress and needs
• Schedule and provide approximately 2 hours of direct service per week, with additional indirect time as needed
• Maintain thorough documentation of services delivered and student outcomes
• Adapt to evolving circumstances, as the assignment may last from several weeks up to a month, depending on when out-of-district placement is finalized

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Previous experience delivering virtual special education services strongly preferred
• Ability to individualize instruction and materials for diverse learning needs
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Comfortable with technology platforms used for virtual instruction
