This onsite, full-time opportunity allows you to work closely with students in grades K-6, predominantly supporting those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Applied Skills needs. The position offers immediate start and extends through the end of the school year, with the potential for ongoing employment.

What you’ll bring:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher license for mild or intense intervention.
  • Expertise in working with elementary-aged children, especially those requiring Applied Skills support.
  • Experience and specialized knowledge in autism intervention and support strategies.
  • Strong collaboration skills to partner with fellow educators, support staff, and families.
  • Exceptional patience, dedication, and commitment to inclusive education.
  • Ability to adapt instructional methods and materials to meet students’ unique learning needs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct instruction and individualized interventions for students with a range of abilities and needs, primarily ASD.
  • Develop and implement IEPs, monitoring student progress and maintaining documentation.
  • Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to promote student success.
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive, and structured classroom environment.
  • Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and needs.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices.

Work schedule:

  • Full-time: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM).
  • Serve as an integral support for elementary students throughout the school year.
