Qualifications & Professional Background:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a special education setting
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
  • Adaptability in instructional strategies to meet a range of student needs
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Organizational skills and a dedication to ongoing professional growth

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver individualized instruction aligned with student IEPs
  • Assess and track student progress, documenting outcomes and updating goals as needed
  • Work collaboratively with general education teachers, related services, and families
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all district, state, and federal requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and professional learning opportunities

Compensation for this position ranges from $33.71 to $53.71. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
