An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Special Education Teacher to work onsite with a mild to moderate elementary caseload for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position calls for an educator passionate about helping children reach their full potential.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education teaching credential (applicable for elementary level, mild to moderate caseload)
  • Experience or interest in working with elementary students with diverse abilities
  • Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
  • Strong classroom management and effective communication skills
  • Collaborative spirit to work alongside educators, support staff, and families
  • Adaptable and patient in fostering an inclusive learning environment

Role Responsibilities:

  • Teach students with mild to moderate disabilities in an elementary school setting
  • Develop individualized education programs (IEPs), deliver instruction, and adjust lessons according to student needs
  • Assess progress and maintain detailed records to ensure effective support
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to promote student success
  • Participate in school-based team meetings, professional development, and compliance activities
