Qualifications:

  • Current and active Special Education Teacher license for South Carolina, with Multi-categorical or appropriate certifications for assigned classrooms
  • Demonstrated experience in elementary, middle, high school, or preschool special education environments
  • Familiarity with various instructional settings, including moderate needs and co-taught resource programs
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities for working with interdisciplinary teams
  • Passionate about fostering student growth and advocating for diverse learning needs

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized instruction in alignment with IEP goals across assigned grade levels
  • Manage specialized classrooms and effectively co-teach within resource room models
  • Collect and analyze student data to drive targeted interventions and track progress
  • Collaborate with general education staff, administrators, and families to support student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings, preparing all necessary documentation and progress reports
  • Foster inclusive and supportive classroom communities that encourage every learner’s potential
