Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting the educational journey of students with special needs across multiple school sites. This position spans elementary, middle, and PreK settings, offering diverse teaching experiences within both moderate/co-taught resource rooms and self-contained classrooms.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active South Carolina Special Education Teacher License, multi-categorical or appropriate endorsement/certification required
  • Experience or strong interest in working in various special education settings (elementary, middle, or PreK)
  • Capability to adapt to moderate and co-taught classrooms as well as self-contained environments
  • Availability for onsite instruction preferred; virtual instruction considered for highly qualified candidates
  • Previous LEAVE coverage experience a plus, but not required

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction in accordance with IEPs in assigned elementary, middle school, and PreK settings
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom culture for students with diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate with grade-level teams and related service providers to support student success
  • Collect data and maintain accurate student records as required by district and state guidelines
  • Engage with parents and caregivers to communicate student progress and strategies
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and planning sessions as scheduled
