Qualifications: Candidates must hold two active Texas teaching certifications, meeting one of the following combinations:
- EC–12 Special Education AND EC–6 Core
- EC–12 Special Education AND 4–8 Generalist
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with special needs in self-contained settings
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to foster student growth and success
- Maintain accurate records and monitor student progress
