Special Education Teacher in Kimberly, ID

Step into an impactful role as an onsite Special Education Teacher, supporting students across K-12 grades and a variety of learning needs. This full-time, contract opportunity runs from August through late May, providing the chance to make a difference throughout an entire school year. You'll work closely with a collaborative team to serve a diverse caseload, featuring students with mild, moderate, severe, and medically fragile disabilities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Idaho State Teaching Certificate
• Idaho Exceptional Child Certificate required
• Special Education Endorsement necessary
• Previous ERC (Early Childhood or Extended Resource Classroom) experience preferred
• Ability to provide direct instruction and adapt strategies for a wide range of abilities and needs
• Confident and compassionate when assisting with toileting and personal care tasks, as needed
• Strong skills in collaboration with colleagues, families, and support staff
• Passion for fostering inclusive and supportive classroom environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to meet each student’s IEP goals
• Develop and implement individualized education plans in compliance with state regulations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, therapists, and families to maximize student growth

• Participate in IEP meetings, data collection, and progress monitoring
