Key Qualifications:

• Holds active Special Education Teacher licensure in South Carolina (required)
• Previous experience working with early childhood or preschool-aged children preferred
• Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and ability to implement specialized instruction
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for partnering with families, staff, and multidisciplinary teams
• Adaptability, patience, and a student-centered approach to learning

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver specially designed instruction for students with diverse learning needs in an early childhood setting
• Create, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with other educators and service providers
• Utilize evidence-based interventions and differentiated strategies to maximize student success
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment where every child can thrive
• Track and report on student progress, maintaining accurate records and effective communication with families
