Special Education Teacher- Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility

Soliant is seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher for a full-time, in-person position supporting secondary students in a psychiatric residential treatment facility. This position will primarily provide resource support to students in grades 6–12.

Position Details:

• Full-time
• In-person position
• Psychiatric residential treatment facility serving students in grades 2–12
• Primary caseload: Grades 6–12
• Resource setting
• Approximately 15 students on caseload
• Flexibility to group students for services based on individual needs and teacher discretion

Preferred Experience:

• Emotional/Behavioral Disabilities (EBD)
• Other Health Impairment (OHI)
• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Experience supporting secondary students in a resource setting
• Strong behavior management and classroom management skills

Requirements:

• Active or eligible Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with students with EBD, OHI, and ASD
• Ability to provide individualized and small-group instruction
• Knowledge of IEP implementation and progress monitoring
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
