In this role, you'll work in a psychiatric residential treatment facility serving grades 2-12, focusing primarily on a manageable secondary caseload (grades 6-12). Role Requirements:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification
• Experience working with EBD (Emotional Behavioral Disorders), OHI (Other Health Impairments), and ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) populations
• Background working with students in resource classroom settings
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Role Duties:

• Provide resource support and direct instruction for students in grades 6-12
• Manage a caseload of approximately 15 students, grouping them as you determine best meets their needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating with team members
• Work closely with classroom support staff (1 teacher + 1 adult for every 4 students)
• Assist students in working toward successful transition back to traditional school settings
