Key Qualifications:

• Valid state teaching certification in Special Education
• In-depth knowledge of IEP process, curriculum adaptation, and differentiated instruction
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher is preferred, though dedicated new graduates are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in classroom and small group settings
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies for optimal outcomes
• Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and administrators to foster an inclusive educational experience
• Communicate regularly with families to encourage support at home and in school
• Maintain accurate records related to student progress, IEPs, and compliance documentation
