Step into a dynamic educational environment as a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year, providing foundational learning and life skills support to elementary students. You’ll work closely with a small group—just five students, two of whom need more functional support—within a classroom that encourages positive reinforcement, rewards, and a strong value system.

Your daily schedule runs from 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, for a total of 37.5 hours per week. An essential part of your role will involve collaborating in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings and ensuring students receive the individualized support they need. The school also offers SAMA (Satori Alternative to Managing Aggression) training in October, which you are encouraged to participate in.

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Valid Texas Educator License with Special Education Endorsement
• Demonstrated experience with ARD processes; comfortable actively participating in meetings
• Background supporting foundational and life skills for EC-6 students
• Commitment to adhering to professional dress code (covering tattoos, single color hair, professional attire, earrings limited to the ears)
• Enthusiasm for positive behavior support strategies
