Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas Department of Education License with Special Education and Generalist/Core Endorsements
  • Experience supporting both Special Education and General Education students, especially with dyslexia interventions
  • Proficient in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) processes and collaborative meeting participation
  • Ability to adhere to professional dress code requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction in dyslexia for a caseload of approximately 25 students (with a focus on elementary EC-6, but possible opportunities for Upper School)
  • Create inclusive and differentiated lesson plans based on student needs and the Reading by Design program
  • Actively participate in ARD meetings and coordinate with school staff and families
  • Maintain compliance with all school policies and promote a positive learning environment
