As a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year, you’ll contribute directly to a positive learning environment in a Foundational Learning/Life Skills classroom, supporting EC-6 students. You’ll collaborate with dedicated staff and gain exposure to a variety of educational approaches and leadership styles, broadening your expertise for future roles.

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Educator License with Special Education Endorsement (Required)
• Demonstrated experience participating in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
• Ability to uphold school dress code: professional attire, covered tattoos, natural hair color, and limited piercings
• Commitment to fostering a positive, reward-based classroom culture

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with a small group of 5 students, including those with higher functional needs
• Implement positive reinforcement strategies and contribute to an inclusive value-driven environment
• Attend and participate in ARD meetings as an educational team member
• Participate in SAMA (Satori Alternative to Managing Aggression) training in October
