Qualifications:

  • Valid GaPSC Teaching Educator Certification
  • Special Education General Curriculum endorsement required
  • Experience within inclusion settings strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with fellow educators and support staff
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored instruction in an inclusion classroom to meet IEP goals for students with diverse needs
  • Collaborate with co-teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers for optimal student outcomes
  • Foster a welcoming, supportive learning atmosphere for students and families
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, parent conferences, and planning sessions
  • Assist with pre- and post-planning days as needed to ensure classroom readiness
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
