You’ll be working full-time, with a 37.5-hour work week, within the vibrant Special Education Pre-K program. Your classroom will focus on children ages 3–5 with varied levels of need, ranging from those currently working on toilet training and assisted feeding, to students who are non-verbal or have limited verbal abilities and demonstrate a variety of behaviors. This is a chance to create a nurturing atmosphere where each child feels seen, supported, and celebrated.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid GaPSC Teaching Certificate with Special and General Education Endorsements covering Pre-K age groups
• Experience or strong interest in working with early childhood special education populations
• Familiarity or willingness to support with basic care needs such as toileting, diapering, and feeding
• Compassion, patience, and skill in managing and responding to diverse behavioral needs
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities
