Qualifications:

  • Valid GaPSC Teaching Certificate with endorsements for Special and General Education (Pre-K focus)
  • Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher or Paraprofessional, especially with early learners
  • Strong ability to support non-verbal or low-verbal children with behavioral needs
  • Comfort with assisting in diapering, toilet training, and feeding

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional instruction and care to Pre-K students (ages 3-5) with a variety of needs
  • Implement and track individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Assist in daily living skills: toilet training, feeding, and communication support
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure consistent progress and a positive learning environment
