Desired Qualifications:

• Valid GaPSC Teaching License with P-12 Special Education Endorsement
• Dyslexia Endorsement (required)
• Experience working with grades PreK–2nd, particularly in an inclusion setting
• Skilled in supporting students with autism, developmental and speech/language delays, self-regulation needs, and learning disabilities
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of approximately 8–10 elementary students (primarily 1st–2nd grade)
• Design and adapt lesson plans in an inclusion classroom
• Foster a supportive learning environment for students with diverse needs
• Supervise toileting for one student (monitoring only—no diapering/changing required)
• Collaborate with general education staff and parents regarding student progress
• Comply with pre-planning (starting July 29th) through year-end (May 21st, 2027)
