Desired Qualifications:

  • Active GaPSC Teaching License
  • P-12 Special Education Endorsement
  • Dyslexia Endorsement required
  • Special education teaching experience (Inclusion setting experience preferred)
  • Ability to manage and support PreK-2nd grade students with varying needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead an inclusion classroom (primarily 1st-2nd grade, possibly some Kindergarten)
  • Direct support for a caseload of approximately 8-10 elementary students
  • Implement IEPs and behavior plans for students with autism, developmental delays, speech/language needs, and learning disabilities
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to maximize student progress
  • Oversee toileting supervision for one student with a related goal (no diapering required)
