As an integral part of the administrative team, you will help ensure timely and accurate Medi-Cal documentation. Key Qualifications:

  • Prior experience handling and processing Medi-Cal or Medicaid requests is essential
  • Proven ability to monitor, track, and verify records for compliance, especially in an education or public agency environment
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail for paperwork and deadlines
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are highly desirable for effective communication
  • Able to clearly interface with special education teachers and other staff regarding time surveys and procedural documentation
  • No specific certifications required, but a solid working knowledge of Medi-Cal guidelines is strongly preferred

Core Responsibilities:

  • Track and process Medi-Cal requests submitted by school or district staff
  • Monitor incoming random time surveys from Medicaid to ensure timely and accurate submission
  • Collaborate closely with special education teachers/staff to ensure procedures are being correctly followed
  • Hold monthly meetings with Medi-Cal representatives to confirm compliance and address potential issues
  • Maintain organized records and communicate important deadlines to the appropriate personnel
