Key Qualifications:

• Current Special Education certification for Nebraska (or ability to obtain)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Recent experience teaching in elementary or middle school special education settings
• Strong classroom management and adaptive teaching skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Commitment to maintaining an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
• Enthusiasm for working exclusively onsite with resource classrooms

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small group instruction within resource classrooms at the elementary or middle school level
• Develop, implement, and track progress toward IEP goals for students with diverse needs
• Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families to maximize student success
• Implement evidence-based interventions and differentiated teaching strategies
• Promote a positive, respectful, and supportive atmosphere for all learners
• Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings as required
