Special Education Case Manager - Remote Position - Laconia, NH Area

VocoVision recruits special education case managers for virtual K-12 programs throughout New Hampshire. This remote case manager position involves comprehensive IEP management and special education coordination for students in online learning environments.

The Role: You'll manage all aspects of the special education process for a caseload of 40-50 students, working remotely approximately 35-37.5 hours weekly. Case managers in virtual settings serve as the central coordinator ensuring students receive appropriate services, IEPs are compliant and current, and teams collaborate effectively. The work includes substantial documentation, family communication, meeting facilitation, and progress monitoring across diverse student needs and grade levels.

What You'll Handle:

• Writing and updating individualized education programs
• Leading virtual IEP meetings with parents and school teams
• Coordinating initial evaluations and three-year reevaluations
• Monitoring implementation of services and accommodations
• Tracking student progress toward IEP goals
• Ensuring compliance with special education timelines and procedures
• Responding to parent concerns and questions
• Supporting virtual teachers with IEP implementation
• Maintaining accurate records in IEP management systems
• Participating in problem-solving and intervention discussions

Required Credentials: Active New Hampshire special education license with case manager endorsement, Master's degree in special education or related area, and minimum 2 years school-based experience. Strong knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and New Hampshire special education regulations is essential. The virtual nature requires excellent organizational systems, proactive communication habits, and comfort with technology platforms for meetings and documentation.
