Exciting opportunities are available for passionate Special Education Teachers seeking a contract position for the 2026–2027 academic year. Whether your preference is working with elementary, middle, or high school students, there are multiple openings for resource/co-teach roles across K–12 settings. These positions are full-time, up to 37.5 hours per week, and require in-person service.

Start your assignment August 5th, 2026 and make a lasting impact through June 4th, 2027.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid South Carolina Special Education teaching license (excluding Teachers for Tomorrow licensing)
  • Experience or strong interest in serving K–12 students in a resource or co-teaching environment
  • Ability to adapt instruction and foster inclusive learning across diverse caseloads
  • Reliable availability for full onsite commitment, with strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Dedication to promoting student success, collaborating with general educators, and implementing IEPs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction and support for students with exceptional needs in resource or co-teach classrooms
  • Develop and adapt lesson plans aligned with individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and classroom routines for student success
  • Monitor and document student progress, participating actively in IEP meetings and parent communications
  • Support a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
