Openings Available:

  • PreK Special Ed Teacher: Inclusion classroom (up to 18 four-year-olds, both IEPs and typical peers, supported by two paraprofessionals, operates on EST).
  • General Ed Inclusion Teacher: Grades K-5, one teacher on CST, one on EST, each overseeing 11 or fewer students with the assistance of two paraprofessionals.
  • Secondary Special Ed Teacher: Self-contained classroom (grades 6-8, possibly including grade 5), 5-6 students (potentially up to 10), supported by two paraprofessionals, operates on EST.

Qualifications:

  • Valid certification in Special Education.
  • Experience with PreK, elementary, or secondary students preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction in inclusive or self-contained settings.
  • Collaborate with paraprofessionals and colleagues to support student needs.
  • Develop and implement IEPs and monitor student progress.
  • Cultivate a positive, engaging, and adaptive classroom atmosphere.
