Key Qualifications:
- Current state certification as a Special Education Teacher
- Experience working with PreK students (preferred)
- Skilled in inclusive education and classroom management
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to tailor lessons to both IEPs and typical peers
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead an inclusion PreK classroom with up to 18 four-year-olds (students with IEPs and typical peers)
- Plan and deliver adapted instruction per individual and group needs
- Work closely with two classroom paraprofessionals for support
- Manage all IEP documentation, meetings, and communication with families
- Create an engaging, inclusive learning environment
- Maintain classroom operations on an EST schedule
