Special Education Case Manager - Middle School

Soliant is seeking a full-time Special Education Case Manager to support a middle school caseload. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Special Education professional to manage IEP responsibilities, collaborate with educators, and provide student and teacher support in a collaborative school environment.

Assignment Details

• Position: Special Education Case Manager
• Grade Level: Grades 6–8
• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM–3:15 PM
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: End of School Year
• Caseload: Approximately 95 IEPs
• Certification: Special Education Endorsement Code 144–145
• Teaching Duties: No current teaching duties
• Services: IEP case management, student support, classroom observation, and teacher collaboration

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of approximately 95 IEPs
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education and Special Education teachers
• Observe students in general education classrooms
• Provide support to students within the general education setting
• Provide consultation and support to teachers regarding student needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate student documentation
• Monitor student progress and support implementation of individualized services
• Collaborate with school staff to promote student success and inclusion

Required Qualifications

• Active Special Education Certification with Endorsement Code 144–145
• Experience with IEP case management
• Ability to manage a large IEP caseload
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and school staff

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous middle school Special Education experience
• Experience managing a caseload of approximately 95 IEPs
• Experience collaborating with general education and Special Education teams
• Experience providing classroom-based student and teacher support
