Begin your journey with a comprehensive new teacher orientation on July 22nd. Staff officially starts on July 27th, giving you time to settle in before the school year kicks off on August 3rd. You’ll have the chance to shape the learning experiences of a manageable caseload of approximately 20 students, focusing primarily on content mastery, with a strong emphasis on math and reading support. This role offers a blend of small-group instruction within the resource room and collaboration in general education classrooms (push-in model) for inclusion services.

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification
• Passion for supporting students with unique learning profiles
• Experience or interest in content mastery, particularly in math and reading
• Effective classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small group instruction based on IEP goals
• Provide academic interventions in math and reading
• Push into general education classrooms to support inclusion and student engagement
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and IEP compliance
